General Hospital star Giovanni Mazza’s new film will be available for all fans to watch next week.

Mazza (Gio Palmieri) stars in the movie Sunfish (& Other Stories on Green Lake), a movie anthology that shows four intertwined tales of life at a lake in Western Michigan.

The movie will debut on digital platforms November 4th, including Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Vudu, and is available for preorder.

In the official tagline for the movie, “lives intertwine around Green Lake as a girl learns to sail, a boy fights for first chair, two sisters operate a bed-and-breakfast, and a fisherman is after the catch of his life.”

On October 24th, Mazza appeared with some co-stars in a forum about the film that was sponsored by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and took place at The Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists in Los Angeles. On his Instagram account, he shared some photos from the event taken by professional photographers for Getty Images. Some of them were red-carpet photos, and he shared a photo of him holding a microphone and speaking at the forum.

Braedyn Bruner, who plays his new paramour on General Hospital, Emma Scorpio-Drake, commented on the post, “snazzy fella right there.”

Fans showed their support for Mazza on the post. The Instagram user mattsurenko said, “Giovanni you are an amazing talent in both acting and being a violinist.”

The user dianamcleod18 added, “Gio, I do hope GH has someone gift you a new violin, maybe (Brook Lynn) or Uncle Sonny, and you discover your talent again . I miss your entertaining (musical) side of your character. Your acting has improved so much, but I miss your music very much.” Another simply said, “This young man is going places!”

Sunfish (& Other Stories on Green Lake) debuted at the Sundance Festival in January and has been showing in limited runs in theaters in recent weeks. Sierra Falconer, the writer and director of the movie, was nominated for a jury prize at the prestigious film festival.

Mazza filmed the movie in Traverse City, Michigan, before he came to General Hospital.

Mazza is an expert violinist, recording original music, performing at professional sports events, and on General Hospital. His musical skills come into play in the film, which features a music camp in one of its stories.

Mazza joined General Hospital in 2024. As his character is starting a romance with Emma, he is slowly working his way towards a warmer and kinder relationship with his parents Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) after getting some advice on the matter from Emma and his grandmother Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).
