Harrison Wagner, the younger son of Kristina (Felicia Jones Scorpio) and Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones), was 27 years old when his body was discovered in a Los Angeles parking lot. Months later, an autopsy report listed his cause of death as "fentanyl and alprazolam intoxication."

As Wagner remembered her precious boy on June 6, she posted the following words:

"June 6th is Harrison Wagner Day. If love alone could save him, he’d still be here. I’ve had three years of grief counseling and three years of grief support groups. I’ve hiked thousands of miles. I’ve read grief books. I’ve honored his missed birthdays. I’ve lit candles for him. I’ve cried and I’ve cried. I remind myself how amusing and charming he was. His laughter was loud and contagious and came from a big man who wore a size 14 shoe. I bite into a chocolate chip cookie and think how Harrison loved going to Whole Foods for freshly-baked cookies. He loved dogs and puppies and his voice would rise two octaves when talking to them. His ability to hear every sound produced in a song gave me chills. His hopes for becoming a world famous D.J. and music producer were real. He shared his hard-earned wisdom with me; he told me so many things, beautiful, glorious, and pride-filled, but also frightening things he was ashamed of. He was so full of love and wonder and compassion for others, but he was troubled. He could pull himself out of despair only to fall back into it. I was powerless. I couldn’t protect the unprotectable.

"There is real gratitude in recollection, even when it hurts. I miss him. I miss every single detail about that guy and who I was because he existed. Harrison, this is about us for you now live through me as our lives are one. Because of you I am calmer and stronger. I recently learned that a mother’s body can retain fetal cells for her entire lifespan. I like that - it means that he lives in memory, in spirit, and in body."

Wagner's General Hospital co-stars were just as moved by her words as fans and let the actress know that they were thinking of her on this bittersweet day.

"Oh Kristina, you write beautifully about Harrison, and you continue to share him with us. Love you, you created a beautiful human and he lives on," Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) said.

Love you. I feel connected to him through your words. What a beautiful human," wrote Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio).

Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) wrote: "Thank you for reminding me never take anything for granted."

The actress also posted a video of a memorial she created for her son on the beach.

After their son's death, the Wagners established the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund, with money used to help young men become sober through the non-profit Miracle House Foundation.
