General Hospital hasn't brought on D.A. Justin Turner's mom yet; however, her portrayer, Nazneen Contractor, recently shared a loving tribute to her mother, who just hit an important life milestone. General Hospital, moms are the best View this post on Instagram Instagram Post"My beautiful mother, Yasmin, celebrated her 80th birthday this weekend, and my heart is overflowing," posted Contractor on Instagram."She is the embodiment of selflessness—the kind of woman who gives without keeping score, who loves without conditions, and who finds strength in places most of us didn’t know existed," the actress continued. "Everyone who has the privilege of knowing her feels it too. There’s something rare about someone who can look at the world and consistently find the good, even when it’s hiding. She was the best wife, and her marriage to my Papa was the gold standard of love."She’s Jiji to my children—the grandmother who makes every moment an adventure," praises Contractor. "She’s the keeper of recipes that taste like home and memories. And to me, she’s been my constant, my biggest cheerleader, the voice that never doubted even when I doubted myself. Everything I’ve been able to build and create has her fingerprints all over it—not because she did it for me, but because she made me believe I could."Mama, we love you more than words can hold," the soap opera lawyer concludes. "Thank you for being exactly who you are—the best mother, grandmother, mother-in-law [Contractor is wed to Carlo Rota, who plays Jenz Sidwell on General Hospital], and friend anyone could ask for. Every moment we share is a gift I never take for granted."Family Court, General Hospital View this post on Instagram Instagram PostOn-screen, Contractor's district attorney character had the unenviable task of making life a bit harder for Sonny's (Maurice Benard) grandson, Rocco (Finn Carr). The young man had gotten into what looked like some minor trouble when he got caught by Prof. Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) after he'd snuck into his lab.Turner had signed off, initially, with a slap on the wrist for Rocco, but then Dalton made it look like Rocco had done far worse damage than what had truly occurred. Rocco had to spend a brief period of time incarcerated, but then he got out on bail. D.A. Turner may have a chance to get back into Sonny's good graces once Dalton (RIP) is a no-show at the next step in Rocco's prosecution. If the professor isn't around to testify, the odds are that Rocco won't have to do any hard time. Catch all-new episodes of General Hospital weekdays on ABC and Hulu.
