Here's who General Hospital's Kirsten Storms hangs out with after work

On General Hospital, Maxie and Lulu are besties. Kirsten Storms has played Maxie since 2005, and she and Lulu have not only hatched schemes but have also been there for each other in life. Alexa Havins, who currently plays Lulu, explained that she can’t wait for the two best friends to get to the point where they engage in zany antics again. In real life, Storms is best friends with Emme Rylan, who formerly played Lulu on the show, before her character landed in a coma. And that friendship remains to this day, as Storms illustrated on social media.

Fans were happy for them

Kirsten Storms shared a pic on Instagram with the caption, “@emmerylan and I were out and about today. We each brought a mini me. #thebestiesummerof2025.” The mini-mes, of course, were their daughters. In the photo, Storms is sitting in the driver’s seat while Rylan’s in the passenger seat, and both have knowing smirks on their faces. In the back seat are the young girls, enjoying ice cream treats. Former General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough, who played Robin Scorpio, commented simply, “Cuties.”

@manestine chimed in with, “I may not see Emme on GH, but I am so happy I get to see her on your page. Two of the cutest besties and their minis.” Another follower responded to that comment, noting that Rylan also has her own page on the social media platform. Everyone loved the pic with @nueve4nana writing, “You two are so so cute! So are your mini-me girlies!!” The fans were also very appreciative of Storms and Rylan’s friendship, as @ellenbethcleary commented, “You ladies have such a wonderful friendship, great role models for your daughters. Enjoy the time you get to spend together, good- true girlfriend’s are hard to come by.”

Some fans miss Rylan as Lulu

Although Havins has won the fans over and made the part of Lulu her own, many still lamented the fact that Rylan was no longer in the part. That was reflected in @angelina647’s reply, “Miss her on [General Hospital] she was the best LULU! Have fun girls.” @donnamarie_realtornyc took a deeper dive into the topic, explaining, “While I do love Alexa…see this right here is why she will always be Lulu to me! You both have an amazing friendship that shone on GH! Your character, Maxie, and Alexa’s version of Lulu don’t blend together like this!”

And @kailey916, who recalled many of Storms and Rylan’s posts about knitting, eagerly responded, “So glad you’re back together!! Missed seeing content with both of you in it! You always look like you’re having so much fun together!”
