Jason Morgan has a lot on his plate right now on General Hospital. Not only is he processing Britt’s return and trying to find out where the two stand, but he’s also carrying the fallout of dropping a major bombshell on Carly (Laura Wright) — the truth that Josslyn is a spy.

While his on-screen world may be chaotic, off-screen, actor Steve Burton took a quiet moment to talk to fans about something much more personal: accountability, reflection, and resilience.

Looking in the Honesty Mirror

Steve Burton recently took to Instagram with an inspiring message.

"You know, somebody once asked me, ‘Do you want to know your future?’ And I said, 'Yeah. Sure.' And he said, 'Look in the mirror.' And I’m like, 'Dang, man, you’re coming in hot on that one.' But he said, 'Look in the honesty mirror. Look at the things that you know you need to change, that you’re not changing…to become better. Look at your habits, look at your daily choices, look at your daily actions. That is what’s writing your future. FACTS.'"

He then wrote that those words stuck with him, inspiring change. “It’s always a work in progress, but what’s stopping you from making changes to become the best version of you?” he asked of the fans, ending with, “Because we only have One Life…Don’t Settle.”
