When Rocco Meets Liesl: The General Hospital encounter that could change everything

General Hospital's Rocco Falconeri is going through some things. The 16-year-old just got a huge shock when he learned how he was conceived and born. It turns out his mother didn't give birth to him and didn't even know he existed until he was about seven months old. That's enough for any kid to handle, but Rocco is about to take things a step further.

General Hospital's Rocco's ready for answers

Since Lulu (Alexa Havins) has been telling him Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was some sort of monster, and Jason (Steve Burton) is telling him the complete opposite, Rocco (Finn Carr) wants to know more about the woman who stole him as an embryo and carried him for nine months. So, he's going straight to the source, meaning Britt's mother, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

As the audience knows, Rocco reached out to Liesl via email last week, meaning Kathleen Gati is bringing the popular character back to Port Charles. She hasn't been seen since December of 2023 when she left town to try and get over Britt's death. When she hears from Rocco, Liesl can't wait to tell "Ben" all about her precious Britta.

A big day for Rocco and Liesl

When Liesl knew Rocco, he was just an infant known as Ben. It was only after Dante and Lulu found out that Ben belonged to them that he became Rocco. Now, Rocco wants to know what his life was like as Ben, even if he was only a small baby. In Rocco's mind, Britt was a part of him. So, he meets with Liesl to get the answers he's been looking for, as Kathleen Gati makes her way back to General Hospital.

"Those scenes were really fun," Finn Carr told Soap Opera Digest. "Rocco is really excited to meet her and it’s pretty funny — he dresses up a little nicer than he normally does. Instead of his usual relaxed clothing, he puts on a little button-up shirt and instead of messy hair, he has a nice little comb-over to try and impress her a little bit. She is just as excited to talk to Rocco, and I know that previously on the show she’s done a lot of crazy stuff, but to Rocco, she’s just a really nice person and through her, he’s able to learn some new stuff about himself."

Clearly, Rocco's parents aren't going to be happy about this meeting, but Rocco doesn't care if he learns more about how he came to be. Perhaps, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship...
