Newcomer Erik Valdez out at GH

Newcomer Erik Valdez will exit General Hospital in the weeks ahead. The actor made his GH debut less than six months ago.

Though unconfirmed by the show, Soap Central has learned that General Hospital newcomer Erik Valdez (Trey Mitchell) will be exiting the show.

Valdez made his daytime debut in June 2012. It is unclear at this time how the actor's exit will impact the role of his on-screen love interest, Lindsey Morgan (Kristina Davis).

A final airdate has not yet been announced.
