Will Jon Lindstrom be sticking around as GH's Kevin Collins?

This week's appearance of Jon Lindstrom in the role of his popular General Hospital character, Dr. Kevin Collins, was a sight for sore eyes, leaving many fans wondering if he'll be hanging around for good or disappearing again.

General Hospital fans were thrilled with this week's return of Jon Lindstrom in the role of Dr. Kevin Collins, the beloved psychiatrist who showed up on the screen for a psychiatry session with Anna (Finola Hughes). But will the actor and his alter ego be back?

"There is a second meeting that we have scheduled, where Anna shows up and I throw her a curve ball, which is pretty significant, I have to say," the actor told Soaps In Depth. "I catch her at a moment when she can't help but go along with it. I believe that she's really too far gone to deal with this with a simple conversation."

However, Lindstrom isn't sure if the story will continue from that point. "To be honest, I have no idea," he confessed. "We'll just have to see."

Earlier this month, the actor (who's married to soap vet Cady McClain [ex-Kelly Andrews, The Young and the Restless; ex-Dixie Cooney, All My Children]), expressed his excitement about being back in Port Charles. ""I was so pleased to go and romp with my old friends at GH again!"

Lindstrom has played the role of Kevin on-again, off-again since 1994 and was briefly replaced earlier this year by Anthony Starke while he was filming True Detective. He also played the character on the GH spin-off Port Charles as well as the character of Craig Montgomery on As the World Turns.
