WATCH: GH's Kimberly McCullough releases first Hey Day teaser

General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough (ex-Robin Scorpio) has released the first teaser trailer for her 1980s soap opera-inspired series, Hey Day.

Get ready for a serious blast from the past, because the first teaser trailer for General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough's (Robin Scorpio Drake) loosely autobiographical 1980s soap opera-inspired series, Hey Day, has hit the net.

The colorful clip (both in hue and NSFW language) features GH star Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) as the executive producer of a fictional daytime series consoling a character audiences can only guess must be a fictional version of McCullough.

Hey Day also features Bree Williamson (Claudette Bolland, GH; ex-Jessica Buchanan, One Life to Live) as a cocaine-loving former ballerina turned soap star.

"This is a show that I have been conceiving for a while and it all started because as I got older, I started to hear stories from, you know, the soap legends about what it was like in the '80s and it was just a different time," McCullough shares. "Even though I was an actress on the show, I was a kid, so I didn't quite understand the debauchery that was going on -- or rather, I was shielded from it. So anyway, it became very interesting to me and so I wrote the show and I'm planning on pitching it to the different networks.

PS: McCullough asks that fans use the hashtag #80sheydaysoap when sharing the video or posts about the project. "That way, when I'm talking about it to different companies, I can actually say to them, 'These people actually want to see the show.'"

What do you think about the first teaser trailer for Hey Day? Does it make you hungry for more? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
