A new comedy film called Kombucha Cure will star Tamara Braun (ex-Kim Nero, General Hospital; ex-Ava Vitali, Days of our Lives; ex-Reese Williams, All My Children) opposite Jennifer Bassey (ex-Marian Colby, AMC; ex-Quinn Danvers, GH).

Two fan-favorite divas from daytime will be sharing the screen in an upcoming comedy film called Kombucha Cure: Tamara Braun (ex-Kim Nero, General Hospital; ex-Ava Vitali, Days of our Lives; ex-Reese Williams, All My Children) and Jennifer Bassey (ex-Marian Colby, AMC; ex-Quinn Danvers, GH).

Variety reports that Braun and actress Denise Boutte will play the leading roles of corporate executive enemies at a health insurance company who are sent to a small town to investigate what the company views as the unusual and expensive longevity of some of their clients with cancer.

At the moment, it's unclear how Bassey's character Hanna will play into the Cecilia Choi-directed film, but other actors slated to share the screen include Robert Craighead, Ali Zahiri, Lance Paul, Yorke G. Fryer, Angie Kim, Jayson Bernard, and Jasper Cole.

Braun took to Instagram with a behind-the-scenes photo of herself and a dog on the set of Kombucha Cure, writing, "Just a normal day at work. #kombucha #kombuchacure #girl and her dog #wolf #beast #tongue"

Kombucha Cure, which is being executive produced by Jonathan Chia and Tarun Raj, is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Tamara Braun has a long history in daytime that begins with the role of General Hospital's Carly Corinthos, which she played from 2001 to 2005 and again in 2014. She returned to GH in 2017 in the brand-new role of Kim Nero, which she played until 2019. Her other soap credits include All My Children's Reese Williams (2008 to 2009), Days of our Lives' Taylor Walker (2011), and DAYS' Ava Vitali (2008, and again from 2015 to 2016).

Jennifer Bassey got her start on soap operas with roles on series like Love of Life and The Edge of Night, but she really hit it big when she took on the role of All My Children's Marian Colby in 1983. Bassey played the character on-again, off-again until the soap's cancellation in 2011 and then briefly played GH's Quinn Danvers in 2017.
