General Hospital's Willow needs saving again — from herself and the man she thinks saved her back in 2023. In Willow's mind, Drew pulled off a superhero mission and rescued Aunt Liesl from the evil Victor Cassadine, getting her bone marrow back to Port Charles in the nick of time.
As most fans will tell you, Willow's bone marrow basically saved her own self, with a little help from Sasha's mom. Drew just accompanied her home on the plane. Well, now Aunt Liesl is back in PC again, ready to fix what her bonehead niece broke, thanks to Aunt Liesl's trusty bone marrow saving bonehead niece's life.
Willow's delusions know no bounds

The only credit we will give Willow this week is that she acknowledged that her Aunt Liesl did indeed save her life, but made sure it couldn't have happened without Drew. (Narrator: It could have.) Liesl gently asked her niece if perhaps she was mistaken about gratitude for love, but Willow would not even entertain such a thought. After all, Drew was loving, kind, and supportive (as long as Willow did whatever he said), and big, bad Michael was a vindictive, manipulative liar.
That's honestly all Willow could say all week. Michael made her do it. Everything is Michael's fault. She couldn't help falling in love, and no judge has the right to tell her who she can and can't love and live with. While that is true, a judge does have the right to decide that her children can't live with him. But don't tell that to Willow. She is the victim, and everyone else is the villain. That's how it now works in Willow's world.
Drew's ewww knows no bounds

Every week, Drew seems to undo himself with just how nasty, manipulative, and vindictive he can be. We thought he hit a new low when he tried to make Wiley believe that Michael didn't love him. However, ordering Portia to fake Michael's test results to make it look as if he is an opioid addict takes the cake. We know he will eventually do worse because he is Ewww Drew, but he topped himself this week.
There is literally nothing left to even like about this character. He may even be worse than Peter August, a character whose death was celebrated with virtual parties across social media. Except for Kai and Willow, nobody likes him, and practically everyone who knows him is plotting to bring him down. We still don't know where the 'Who Shot Drew?' story we've been waiting for all year is, but it has to be coming soon, right? Maybe it can happen at the wedding nobody wants to attend, because who would want to see The Gruesome Twosome marry?
Never fear, Liesl is here

Liesl took one look at Willow and knew she was nuttier than a fruitcake. We know in her head she was saying, "I gave up my bone marrow for this lunatic? She couldn't have put it to better use?" But Aunt Liesl refrained. Instead, she watched that nutjob like a hawk and had her number in an instant.
When Willow was gone, Liesl declared it her mission to rescue Willow from Drew — and her own self. FINALLY! Someone who can get the job done. Nina and Portia failed miserably when they drugged Drew with ketamine and tried to make it look like Drew cheated. The fact that he didn't cheat may be Drew's only redeeming quality at this point, but he still deserves a downfall like nobody else.
Liesl's reason for returning to Port Charles was to give Rocco all the information she could about her Britta, but she sees she has another mission now. Liesl Obrecht is here, so the games can now begin. We also know that if Liesl learns that Drew and Nina had an affair, she will use that information in an instant. Dr. O will call it tough love, and it will remind us of when she delivered Wiley on the side of the road. That was some tough love with Nelle, and she didn't even know Nina's other off-the-wall daughter was her niece. Ahhhh, the good old days...
Portia and Curtis, call Nina's aunt

Portia might have failed with hers and Nina's ketamine scheme, but she is not about to fail this time. No way is she going to do what Drew orders her to do. She is DONE, DONE, DONE. The problem is, Portia and Curtis need a foolproof plan.
Curtis already hinted to Nina that sometimes you have to betray the people you care about, which made us think that Curtis was about to out Nina and Drew's affair in print. But what if he tells Portia, and the current GH chief of staff tells the former GH chief of staff? Portia, Curtis, and Liesl can be the trio we need to get the job done. We just need to know one thing. Who will hold the gun? Who will reveal the smoking gun? And who will be on lookout?
Nina's superior daughter

Nina certainly didn't hit the jackpot when it came to real daughters (although Nelle could certainly entertain us). But when it comes to fake daughters, there was nobody better for Nina than Sasha. And now Sasha is gone, and we are still drying our eyes.
WHY!?!?! There has rarely been a character we have rooted for more than poor, mega-tortured Sasha. Why even have her give birth to Michael's baby, now a legacy character with an incredible soap pedigree, just to send her off with very little fanfare a month later?
Willow stalking Daisy was a great soap opera, and could have turned into quite a dramatic story in which Willow kidnapped the baby and then had a Ferncliff-level breakdown. But nope. Sasha is gone.
We also have to ask what the point was of making Sasha a Scorpio just to send Robert and Holly off a few weeks after that reveal. Sure, she is with her parents now, but so many bonding moments will take place off-screen.
At least GH was kind enough to give us a whole hour of our beloved Tristan Rogers and Robert Scorpio as part of Sasha's farewell. It was the ONLY silver lining.
Liesl's daughter

So, there's a woman who looks exactly like Britt Westbourne boarding a plane from Paris to Croatia while Jason just happens to be sitting there. Somehow, Jason can also see people without even looking in their direction, and lifting his head. When "Britt" swooped by, Jason was looking down in the totally opposite direction, but somehow his love for her was so strong that he sensed her presence. Really?
Jason barely knew Britt. Sure, they became pals and went on the run together before embarking on a (very) brief romance, but that's the point. Their relationship was brief, and he never even declared his love. Instead, he declared his love for Carly in some sort of storyline fever dream and dumped Britt like a hot potato. Never mind that Britt then spent the next two years mourning Jason, and Jason was brought to tears last year when he learned that Britt had died, their relationship was neither epic nor a love story.
But it looks like that's what we are about to get now. We guess the timing is finally right. Steve Burton is not suddenly leaving the soap, and Kelly Thiebaud is back, so we may as well get the Jason and "Britt" show on the road. (Is she Britt? Is she not Britt? Hopefully, we will know by at least the end of the summer.)
FINALLY, Anna figures it out

We knew that Anna would be the first person to guess that Josslyn Jacks somehow became a WSB agent (we still don't understand how), but it certainly took her long enough since Avenger Barbie went to spy school in February, and it's almost August. But Anna finally knows the truth thanks to GH putting its airport set to good use.
Not only did Jason see "Britt" at a Paris airport, but Josslyn and Vaughn ran an op at the Port Charles airport and looked just as ridiculous doing it as they have at every other op they have attempted together.
We like that Dante also knows the truth because both Anna and Dante's reactions to Josslyn — JOSSLYN — as a super spy are going to be absolutely epic. Bring on Monday because we are ready for the laughter it will bring/
Till next week, Scoopers, when Willow's wedding will be the talk of the town — if anyone bothers to show up.
