Just when we thought it was safe to go back in the water (so to speak), General Hospital gives us a jump scare and brings the Gruesome Twosome back center stage. It's not like we asked for this, but here they are, ready to get married again (sigh!). Just what we needed for a short and sweet week.
Oh yay! It's Drillow again (kinda eww)

We had a nice long (but not long enough) reprieve from having to watch too many scenes with Drew and Willow together, but our little break has come to an end, and they are back in all their glory. In fact, they are planning a Thanksgiving wedding in their little Dawn of Day living room because why not?
We mean, it's not like Drew and his infinite power to reach across the ocean haven't cost Willow everything. So, why not agree to marry him again? Or...did she? Was that really Willow showing off her ring to Elizabeth or was it one of her alters? Cause if Willow doesn't have DID then General Hospital isn't a soap opera.
Let's not forget how tentative Willow seemed when she first walked into Drew's house. She even seemed horrified with the idea of marrying him when he got down on one knee and told him she didn't want to marry because she had to. Drew then wondered if Willow loved him, and we never saw the answer.
Instead, we saw an unusually happy Willow announce her engagement to Elizabeth and ask her to be her maid of honor. Not seeing Willow's answer to Drew's question was a choice, and it makes us wonder what is really going on in her crazy little head.
Willow shows grace. Write it down!

We all know Willow is one of the most unforgiving characters on GH (except when it comes to Drew, go figure). Nina has actually never done much to Willow except be mean to her when Charlotte was in third grade and have sex with Drew before Willow ever had sex with Drew, but according to Willow, Nina has done the most horrible things to her that anyone could do. Over and over again. Cause Willow is delusional.
But, she is also gracious, didn't you know? She has found it within her generous heart to forgive her mother for the egregious sin of having sex with a man when neither Nina nor the man was attached to anyone. HOW DARE SHE?!?! Watching Nina practically grovel was not a good look, but at least her new haircut is fab. And at least Aunt Liesl told dumb Willow exactly what she thinks of her because somebody has to, petulant child that Willow is.
Curtis in the General Hospital crosshairs

Now, Nina did do a bad, bad thing to Portia. That we cannot deny. Nina has had a nasty habit of throwing pregnant women under the bus for Willow's sake this year and that has to end. Sasha forgave Nina within minutes, but things won't be so easy with Portia.
Thanks to Nina, Portia might have to reveal who her baby daddy is (or at least who he might be) and she is not ready to do that. Portia knows she was with Isaiah when Drew was shot, but Nina does not know that. And neither does Alexis, so things are about to get a little too complicated for the Ashford clan.
Curtis is going to have a lot of explaining to do. Nathan has zeroed in on Mr. Ashford and we have a feeling he might not be telling us something. (Our money is still on Willow or some version of Willow we have yet to fully meet.)
Tell me lies

If Danny and Charlotte weren't related, they'd be our new favorite couple, but instead, they can be our new favorite cousins. Who didn't chuckle when the adults in the room heard their little sob story about Dalton punching Rocco? At least Charlotte was more convincing than Danny, but Alexis knew in a second they were lying and we knew Alexis knew by the look on her face.
We were sure they would talk her into believing them, but Alexis was as blunt as they get, giving these two meddling kids the tough love they needed.
However, how sweet was the brigade to save Rocco from the big bads in juvenile detention (who turned out to be the big bad on Spoon Island)? It was all hands on deck for this adorable teen who actually got a bit of a thrill from breaking into a high-security lab. After his alcohol incident last spring, we are sure Rocco has a few more tricks up his sleeve. Be careful of the quiet ones...
Cover Up

And finally, we have to ask some questions about the mayor during this short and sweet week, where not much happened at all. Why is she freaking out so much about finding a dead body in her trunk, as if she hasn't been dealing with the Cassadines and every level of Port Charles crime for nearly half a century?
Since when is Laura a shrinking violet whom Sonny has to convince to keep quiet? Laura is the toughest broad in town and Sonny better remind her of that. Otherwise, having Sonny and Laura keeping this kind of secret is exactly what the soap doctor ordered.
Wait! Is Jack a bad guy?

Jack Brennan started off as a bad guy. Then, he moved on to a Carly love interest so he couldn't be a bad guy. Now, it looks like Jack is indeed a bad guy and Josslyn will be alone again, naturally.
We knew he wouldn't be happy that Joss and Vaughn were sneaking around behind his back, but we didn't expect Jack to disappear Vaughn. We're not sure if this disappearance is permanent, but if it is, it looks like Joss is going to have to go shopping for a new boyfriend again.
Till next week, Scoopers, when Willow just might leave Drew at the altar again. Wouldn't that be something (and fun)?
