Two pairs of sisters who may eventually become enemies on General Hospital

Recently on General Hospital, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) confessed that her primary goal as a WSB agent is to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for his many crimes. Now that she said this, it feels as though the writers are setting the stage for sisterly conflict down the road between Joss and one of her siblings. The sibling in question is her adorable kid sister Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), Sonny's daughter.

Donna is such a sweet little girl, and she has a good relationship with Joss right now. Her youth puts her in a state of ignorant bliss. When she looks at Sonny, all she sees is her loving daddy. She has no idea yet that he's a career criminal. She most likely doesn't even know what a career criminal is. Once the soap writers SORAS her, and she learns the truth about him, what will she think of him then? How will she react when she learns that her half-sister Joss is determined to put him behind bars? How can their sisterly bond remain intact?

Donna's world is surely going to implode in one way or another. We all know how headstrong Joss is. Once she makes up her mind to do something, nothing can sway her. And considering that Donna's parents are Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny, she will surely grow up headstrong as well. So it just feels like the writers are gearing us up for a future battle between the two sisters. If Joss succeeds in getting Sonny locked up, then Donna may never forgive her.

Kristina versus Avery

We rarely see Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) onscreen. But considering how much Kristina (Kate Mansi) hates Avery's mother Ava (Maura West), it's a sure bet that Kristina and Avery are also headed for plenty of sisterly turmoil once Avery grows up. What will happen if Avery ever learns that Kristina tried to kill Ava, cutting the brakes to what she thought was Ava's car? Avery will want nothing more to do with her. Even if she does, Kristina will surely have a hard time sharing her father's attention with Avery, as we all know what a daddy's girl Kristina is.

If any of these situations comes to pass, then Avery will be the second sibling with whom Kristina is at war. She already engages in heated battles with Molly (Kristen Vaganos) from time to time, which mimics the brotherly feud between their fathers, Sonny and Ric (Rick Hearst).

This is a pattern on General Hospital, as we've also seen sibling feuds between Jason (Steve Burton) and AJ (then-Sean Kanan), twin brothers Jason and Drew (Cameron Mathison), Michael (then-Chad Duell) and Morgan (Bryan Craig), twin brothers Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlin (Jon Lindstrom), and countless other pairs of siblings.
