Who should get Monica's house on General Hospital?

With General Hospital's Drew Cain already insisting that he better not be let out of Monica's will now that she has passed, Port Charles may be gearing up for a fight. However, whoever Monica chose to leave her house to should go undisputed. After all, it was Monica's house because Alan gave it to her, so she should have been able to do with it as she pleased.

So, who should end up with the house that Alan gave Monica? We have a few ideas.

General Hospital's Michael Quartermaine Corinthos

Michael (Rory Gibson) is Monica's (the late Leslie Charleson) only biological grandchild and her pride and joy. She didn't get to be with him during his childhood years, as Carly (Laura Wright) did everything she could to keep Michael away from his father's family, but when Michael became a teenager, all that changed.

Monica embraced him into the Q fold, and they were thick as thieves during the last years of Monica's life. As Tracy (Jane Elliot) already said, all of this — the wealth, the family, the legacy — was now his. Did Tracy also mean the house that her brother gave Monica?

Jason (Quartermaine) Morgan

Monica's beloved son rode his motorcycle out the back door and into Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) orbit nearly 30 years ago, but in 2025, he moved back into the house that his father gave his mother all those years ago.

When Jason (Steve Burton) returned home after three decades away, we are told it was one of the happiest moments of Monica's life. He moved in for Danny's (Asher Atonyzyn) sake so Danny and Rocco (Finn Carr) could still live as brothers, but he got to spend his mother's last months under the same roof with her. Would Monica have chosen to leave her house to her and Alan's son?

Tracy Quartermaine

Ok, yes, Tracy should get the house, and here are all the reasons. First, it would be absolutely cathartic for Tracy to say, "It's my house. Monica gave it to me." Second, it would be hilarious for the audience to hear it. Plus, it's Tracy's family home and was part of the Q clan long before Alan gave it to his wife.

And let's face it, Monica loved Tracy like a sister. They may not have been blood and may have spent much of the relationship as frenemies. But the love was always there, making Tracy the perfect recipient of Monica's house.
