Will Brad return to General Hospital to ruin Portia's life?

With Brad Cooper being mentioned so much of late on General Hospital, we have a sneaking suspicion he could return to the scene and pick up right where he left off. Armed with a small fortune and a need to cause chaos, Brad could cause a heck of a lot of problems for Portia, a doctor who has enough problems to manage without him.

When Brad (Parry Shen) realized that Portia (Brook Kerr) fudged Heather Webber's (Alley Mills) cobalt poisoning blood test results, he began blackmailing her, but when he handed those results to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) was when he really caused trouble. Selina gave the results to Drew, whose blackmail was much more consequential than Brad's.

Brad just wanted Portia to give him good shifts and send him on business trips. Drew (Cameron Mathson) wanted Portia to keep manipulating her husband, which eventually helped lead to the end of her marriage. Before Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia called it quits, they had one last night together. That was not long before Portia's dalliance with Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) on her office couch.

Now, Portia is pregnant, is anxious to take a paternity test before Isaiah learns the truth, and Brad's name keeps flying about. That could mean even more trouble for the hospital's co-chief of staff.

When Brad left town, he did so under Drew's orders, but with a nice cash payout in his pocket. With Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Lucas (Van Hansis) constantly bringing up his name, that tells us that there's a good chance that Brad might be back in Port Charles sooner rather than later.

Since Brad loves to cause trouble and will likely want his job back (to be closer to Lucas again?), he might very well blackmail Portia into hiring him again. If she doesn't, he might want to enact some petty revenge.

Being the expert lab tech that he is, Brad could easily sneak into the General Hospital lab and fudge Portia's paternity test results. That would certainly cause some trouble.

If Isaiah is the father and Brad makes it appear that Curtis is, that might bring Portia and Curtis together again, which is not what either of them wants. Or, Portia could find herself in the middle of a custody fight. If Curtis is the dad and Brad makes it look like Isaiah is, then Curtis will once again be deprived of raising his own child.
