Jack Wagner lands primetime series

Jack Wagner is returning to primetime. The General Hospital star has landed a role in a new Nick at Nite sitcom. Wagner first appeared on GH in 1984.

When his time in Port Charles comes to an end, Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones) will still be at work. The GH favorite will appear on See Dad Run, a new Nick at Nite sitcom starring Scott Baio of Happy Days and Charles in Charge fame.

Wagner will appear as golf legend, Scooter Sullivan, whose short temper leads to problems with Baio's character, David Hobbs. Temper issues aside, the role seems to be perfectly suited for Wagner, who enjoys golf and hosts an annual celebrity golf tournament that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Currently, Wagner is appearing as international spy Frisco Jones to help celebrate General Hospital's 50th anniversary,

Wagner first appeared on General Hospital in 1984 and aired on the show through 1991. He later returned in 1994 and 1995. The actor also appeared for nine years on The Bold and the Beautiful, where he played the role of Dominick "Nick" Marone. Elsewhere in daytime, Wagner appeared on Santa Barbara and Sunset Beach. Outside of daytime, primetime viewers know him as Dr. Peter Burns from Melrose Place.
