Daytime fans have been (im)patiently awaiting the release of General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough's (Robin Scorpio) 80s soap-inspired series, Hey Day. But while things come together behind the scenes, the actress reveals she's working on yet another exciting project.
The California native took to Twitter to share that the current political climate has inspired her to start writing a new script.
"btw I'm writing a new script," she tweeted. "Something of a lighter fare about politics. It's been so intense lately, that this was my reaction."

This latest project makes McCullough one busy bee. In addition to writing the mystery political project and producing Hey Day, she is back in Port Charles this week for a short stint.
"[The return visit] was so fun," she enthused of popping back onto the canvas.
