GH's Amber Tamblyn stars opposite Bob Odenkirk in Girlfriend's Day

Spend Valentine's Day with General Hospital's Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily Quartermaine) in the new Netflix movie Girlfriend's Day.

If you're struggling to write something beautiful to your loved one this Valentine's Day, consider yourself lucky that you don't have the added pressure of someone trying to kill you while you play Shakespeare -- unlike the main character in Netflix's upcoming film Girlfriend's Day.

The clever flick starring Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk and General Hospital alum Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily Quartermaine) follows Ray Wentworth (Odenkirk), once a king of the wordsmith world and now a down-on-his-luck romance card writer. In an effort to recapture the feelings that once made him the greatest, he gets entangled in a web of murder and deceit as writers vie to create the perfect card for a newly crowned holiday: Girlfriend's Day.

Tamblyn, who left GH in 1998, took to social media to share a photo from the movie that was both written and directed by Odenkirk, whom she calls Mr. Bobby-Socks Odensquirt.

Girlfriend's Day is scheduled for release on Netflix on February 14, 2017. Check out a teaser trailer below then let us know what you think about the film's premise.
