Anticipation for the new ABC series Grand Hotel has been high, especially considering it's being executive produced by The Young and the Restless alum Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Brana). But it looks like fans will have to wait quite a long time for the premiere of the primetime soap, as ABC has set its debut date for Monday, June 17.
Though it will likely be torture for viewers to wait half a year until Grand Hotel hits the air, it'll be worth the wait for daytime fans. After all, the soapy drama that centers around a Miami Beach hotel and the lives of its staff stars several beloved alumni of the genre, including Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos), Richard Burgi (ex-Paul Hornsby, GH), Denyse Tontz (ex-Miranda Montgomery, All My Children), and Longoria.
As Soap Central previously reported, Craig has been cast as Javi, a no-filter playboy who loved to disobey his father; Tontz stars as Javi's sister Paloma, a headstrong young woman determined to do what's right for the family business; Burgi has been cast as Michael Finn, a charming and shrewd businessman whose presence in Miami Beach means trouble for the Mendoza family and the staff of the Riviera Grand; and Longoria is set to guest-star as Beatriz, a shrewd businesswoman and former owner of the hotel.
While fans will have to wait until June for the premiere of Grand Hotel, they don't have to wait to see some of these characters in action. ABC has released a preview of the glitzy series, which you can watch below.
