Fans of General Hospital already love Jon Lindstrom (Kevin Collins/Ryan Chamberlain), but now they're going to love him even more: The actor has teamed up with a charity to help make foster children's filmmaking dreams come true.
Called Kids in the Spotlight, the organization helps foster youth heal and grow from trauma through the power of storytelling and filmmaking. The process is meant to empower kids who have been neglected, unwanted or forgotten by giving them writing and filmmaking skills, as well as the power of creativity.
"What a day working with this extraordinary cast making films for @KidsInSpotlight" Lindstrom shared on social media. "Just a little effort and lives can change forever. Thanks to our tireless crew who banged out shot after shot always with the mission of making these kids shine. #blessed #gratitude #fostercare"

Though Lindstrom is most known to daytime fans for his work on GH and for playing As the World Turns' Craig Montgomery, he's also a director and screenwriter, having worked successfully on both sides of the camera for over twenty years. Some of his directing credits include the short films The Middle of the Story, A Chance Encounter, Karma's a...!, and A Majestic Wish. His writing credits include How We Got Away With It, Discedo, and The Hard Easy.
