General Hospital star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) reveals a terrible injury has changed her summer plans -- will it affect her time in Port Charles, as well?

Carly Corinthos knows a thing or two about pain, having suffered a broken heart and other serious maladies over the years. But it's her General Hospital portrayer, Laura Wright, that fans need to be sending good wishes to at the moment -- the actress reveals that she broke her foot!

Fans were first alerted to the upsetting news when Wright took to social media with a photo of her injury and a message to Delta Airlines, inquiring if there was any way they could offer her a flight refund, as her foot is now in a cast, and she can't travel as planned.

"OK @Delta I have to cancel my flight to Prague with my daughter because of my broken foot here's hoping you guys help me out," she shared on Twitter. "You guys are my favorite airline!! Don't let me down."

Fortunately, Delta was happy to help, and Wright shared that the airline offered her a full refund after hearing about her plight. Here's hoping that the actress' recovery process is just as quick and smooth!

As GH fans know, Wright isn't the only performer from the show to suffer injuries recently. Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine) has been recovering from hand surgery, and Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) rode a scooter on-screen as a way to keep filming at GH while recovering from foot surgery. At this time, it's unknown if Wright will be able to return to GH and work as usual. If she is able to work, at least the powers that be already know a crafty way to keep Carly zipping around Port Charles!
