Fans of General Hospital actor Marc Anthony Samuel were pleased by a recent Instagram post made by the recurring star. He revealed that he's back to work in Port Charles.
Samuel posted a photo of himself under a GH logo along with the caption, "Up and at 'em. Where's my coffee?"
At the moment, Port Charles is preparing for the upcoming wedding between Brad (Perry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes), but Brad's baby secret could blow the entire shindig apart. Fans are already guessing that Felix might be returning to the canvas to pick up the pieces of Lucas' broken heart -- but fans will have to tune in to the ABC soap opera to find out!
Marc Anthony Samuel joined GH as a contract character in 2012 but was dropped to recurring status in 2014. Over the years, viewers have seen the character transform from a campy caricature of a gay guy to a full-fledged member of the Port Charles community, which Samuel explained in an interview with Soaps.com.
"I have seen Felix evolve from the guy who was trying to get up in everybody's business to now where he has formed really strong bonds with people in the community of Port Charles," he said. "He's not just funny. Because there was a lot of stuff going on with the comedy aspect of it, but now the other facets of his personality are coming out. We have a lot of situations introduced where you can see a loving, compassionate person. You can see a funny person. You can see someone who kind of lightens the tension. He is also a person who is really there for the people around him who really need him. I think we are going to continue to see him develop into a fully multi-faceted human being with things that are going well and things that are kind of challenging, but he will be a full-fledged member of the Port Charles community."
In addition to GH, some of Samuel's other credits include Ladies of the Lake, NCIS, and Old Dogs & New Tricks.
