General Hospital alum Robert Palmer Walkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine) talks new music and someday returning to Port Charles.

Robert Palmer Watkins has been one busy bee since leaving the role of General Hospital's Dillon Quartermaine in 2017. He's starred in various projects like the TV series Green Valley and the Lifetime film Revenge for Daddy, with projects like the Lifetime film Nanny Danger and the upcoming The Walking Dead spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, on the way. And somehow, through it all, he's finding time to work on his music, too.

As fans have seen on his Instagram page, Watkins has released several covers as part of #FunkItFriday from artists like Kane Brown, Miley Cyrus, and Michael Bublé. The response has been positive, which has inspired him to take his music career even further.

"I am also working on an album right now. It will probably be an EP of six songs and I will probably release them as singles," the actor tells Digital Journal, adding that he's working on his album with music producer and rapper B. Martin.
