17. Show subtle interest

This method is about showing only selective and subtle interest in a thing, situation, or a person, which makes others vie for one’s approval. A measured response creates uncertainty and doubt, which increases the opposite persons' curiosity and obsession. It will also make them work harder in order to make it interesting, simply due to that subtle show of interest. People like to have clear-cut answers, and when they are not available, it makes a situation challenging, which may then bring the best out of them.
