Once again, Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac showed the world why they are the internet's favorite besties. The actors were seen hugging one another in a recent photo posted by Pascal on his Instagram story with Isaac hugging Pascal as if he were the most valuable thing in the world.

Although the actual photo is undoubtedly innocent, the internet was swift to meme it. Some fans made a lighthearted joke about their reunion, pretending that it was over-the-top melodrama for a conclusion to the tale of star-crossed lovers reunited.

Others made light of guessing whether their bond was a telenovela write-in – complete with music and slow-motion trailing.

An X user (@TheGlobal_Index) humorously mentioned:

"why do they look newly married 😭"

One user hilariously reimagined their meet-ups, stating:

"Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac whenever they meet up."

One user jokingly reacted with a sus image:

A user (@StephenSeanFord) chimed in to say:

"why doesn’t bro hold me like this."

A user (@sooyounggxo) described the situation as:

"That one ex you just can’t let go of."

A user (@Mi11365) mentioned:

"No, that's Moon Knight hugging the prince of Dorne."

A user (@levonhelm80) asked:

"Are they the new Ariana Grande and that woman from Wicked."

A user (@EmmaTolkin) posted:

"Putting this in my wallet and telling everyone it’s a photo of my dads from the day they adopted me."

A user (@AmirCantbeArsed) went on to say:

"The kind of picture I'd put in a locket and go to war."

Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac's photo

Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac continue to prove their bromance is one for the ages. The latest proof comes as a warm photo, captured by Isaac's wife Elvira Lind, featuring the two actors amidst a serene, idyllic setting.

In the picture, Pascal hugs Isaac, casually holding his thumb like a baby koala.

Naturally, the internet devoured it. There were waves of reactions on Reddit and X, where fans celebrated their impenetrable bond and applauded the display of non-toxic masculinity.

Some threw light on Pascal and Isaac having set a benchmark that could not be achieved for men's friendships, and others created epic edits out of the photograph complete with poetic lines and melancholy soundtracks.

Meeting in 2005 during an off-Broadway production, Pascal and Isaac hit it off.

Both have publicly complained about their plight as Latino actors being stereotyped, and the two only strengthened their bond.

In an interview with Variety, Isaac reflected on their early careers, and how they buoyed each other in a business that liked to overlook them.

“It’s gotten better, but at that point, it was so easy to be pigeonholed in very specific roles because we’re Latinos. It’s like, how many gang member roles am I going to be sent?”

Pascal started the acting business near the close of the '90s with gigs as a guest on Good vs Evil and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

But it wasn't until 2014, when he showed up as the effortlessly smooth (and fatally fleeting) Oberyn Martell on Game of Thrones, that audiences finally perked up and paid attention.

He became a household name afterward with The Mandalorian, in which he made a helmet ridiculously chic, and The Last of Us, in which he perfected the dadly-but-gruff end-of-the-world survivor.

Isaac, however, began quietly with TV and film cameos before gaining traction in Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), in which he portrayed an unlucky folk singer with questionable personal choices but exceptional musical sensibility.

A year later, he amazed minds with Ex Machina. Star Wars is where he broke into the scene of blockbusters, starring as Poe Dameron.

Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac eventually co-starred in 2019's Triple Frontier, where they played ex-Special Forces members who embark on a high-stakes heist.
