Popular Twitch streamer Amouranth revealed that the CEO of the platform, Dan Clancy, allegedly conceded to having her account shadow-banned for over a year.
The news has been generating a lot of buzz online, most of which stems from trolls claiming her account should have stayed that way. The rest of it is fans trying to defend her, as they feel like shadow-banning should be prohibited as it impedes the right to free speech in a covert, almost shady, manner.
