Live mermaid performances are regarded as a popular entertainment activity, attracting tourists and locals. You're never too old to book a ticket to watch gorgeous mermaids, charming the aquarium up, right? However, have you wondered what happens on the other side of the glass?

A video of a mermaid being attacked by a giant fish has been trending over the internet. Thankfully, she was fine and didn't encounter injuries. So what happened? Masha was a Russian performer at a Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park aquarium in China.

However, while she was in the middle of a show, she was seen being attacked by a giant stringent. She quickly freed herself from its jaws and swam up quickly. Although the audience was mortified, the video sparked hilarious reactions on the internet.
