Until December 30, 2024, customers can get 10-piece Chicken McNuggets for only $1. Customers must note that this deal can be redeemed only once a week on orders through the official app. The same deal was previously introduced on November 4, 2024, and ran until December 2, 2024.
One can get the same offer for free if they are a first-time McDonald’s app user. After downloading the app for the first time, customers will be eligible to get 10-piece Chicken McNuggets for free when they make their first purchase of more than $1.
It is noteworthy that the offer is available once for first-time app users at participating McDonald’s locations and shall stay valid until the end of the month. It may take up to 48 hours to appear in the deals and requires opting into Rewards. Customers will get 100 points for every $1 spent on the app, which can be redeemed for free food.
The Golden Arches had previously announced the launch of its McValue platform across its US restaurants starting on January 7, 2024. This platform will allow customers to access many app-exclusive offers. It will also include the $5 Meal Deal besides the ‘Buy One, Add One for $1’ deal which one can redeem for applicable food items on breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

YouTube channel theendorsement shared a review of the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets for $1 on November 12, 2024. He called the box in which the McNuggets were offered the ‘coffin of goodness.’
The reviewer opined that ‘Hot Mustard’ was the OG dipping sauce offered by McDonalds. Nevertheless, he found the deal great saying if he had to rate it between 1 to 100, he would give it a 99 score.
Similarly, Joshua Weissman tried chicken nuggets from almost every food joint in America. According to him, the McDonald’s ones are:
“Easily the most famous classic nostalgic chicken nugget of all time.”
He said the nuggets looked immaculate and despite the outer coating not being hot, the McNuggets were still crispy. He not only liked the crunch but also the crispiness. Weissman mentioned that he initially disliked the nuggets but the Golden Arches have made the best version of them.
As mentioned, McDonald's $5 Meal Deal will be available through next summer on the McValue platform. The $5 deal includes a choice of McDouble® or McChicken®, small fries, a 4-piece Chicken McNuggets®, and a small soft drink.
