The OG Air Force 1 Low "Linen" sneakers were originally launched in 2001 as part of the Japan-exclusive CO.JP collection. The "Linen" colorway received notable love from sneaker enthusiasts worldwide for its mix of tan and pink hues.

Eventually, it led to a limited re-release in 2016 for KITH Miami and a broader leather retro in 2024. Now, Nike is approaching the "Linen" in a different way, swapping its signature leather for canvas.

Reported design elements of the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Linen Linen" sneakers

This update comes with a breathable material better suited for warmer months, Sneaker Bar Detroit reports. With the global sneaker industry's ongoing trend of re-releasing old designs, the Nike Air Force 1 Low "Linen Linen" is expected to grab notable attention from sneakerheads worldwide. The upcoming iteration's colorway is reportedly labeled Linen/White—Atmosphere.

Here is a closer look at the sneaker’s alleged details:

  • The most notable change is the tan canvas upper, replacing the smooth leather seen in previous versions. This fabric shift gives the sneaker a breathable feel. It is expected to make it a warm-weather-friendly option. The use of canvas also means less creasing compared to leather, which could appeal to those who prefer a more durable everyday sneaker.
  • While the base material has changed, Nike keeps the soft pink leather Swoosh and heel tab, which give a nod to the silhouettes' signature aesthetic. The pink "Nike Air" embroidery on the heel further reinforces the branding.
  • A white midsole provides contrast against the tan upper. The pink rubber outsole remains unchanged. It adds a pop of color to the overall design of the upcoming Air Force 1 Low "Linen Linen" sneakers.
  • The sneaker features a padded white nylon tongue, a staple of Air Force 1 designs. Perforations on the toe box have been added for breathability, reports claim. Additionally, air cushioning in the midsole has also been retained.
