Nike and the Brazilian Football Confederation have announced that they will be extending their collaboration for another twelve years, continuing the four-decade long partnership even further. As per this partnership, Nike continues to be the exclusive sports sponsor and supplier for the Federation.
Furthermore, according to this collaboration, the brand will continue to be the exclusive apparel partner for all teams that are part of the Brazilian Football Confederation - the national men's and women's football and futsal teams, as well as academy squads, the Olympic federation and beach football teams.
Speaking about the collaboration, Nike VP/GM of Latin America, Doug Bowles commented that the extension of this partnership simply displays both parties' desire to expand the sport in Brazilian youth.
"This extension of our partnership with the CBF proudly marks the beginning of a fourth decade of collaboration, reinforcing our long-term commitment to Brazilian football."
He continued,
"We’re thrilled to continue working together to inspire the next generation of athletes across Latin America and around the world. And of course, we’re excited to continue to bring the most cutting-edge Nike football innovations to the Confederation to create the future of the game."
Extending a partnership that has been successful since 1996, Nike and CBF have shared some exciting plans to expand and promote sports, especially football, among the Brazilian youth.

Celebrating the extension of their partnership, the brand has decided to continue in the spirit of community investment in Brazil. To do so, the sports giant as well as the CBF will join hands to grow women's football by inviting more and more young girls to play the sport.
Speaking about the collaboration, Ednaldo Rodrigues, President, of CBF, said that it was wonderful to extend their partnership with the popular sports apparel brand as both brands share the same core values and passion for football.

Ary Borges, a member of the national Brazilian women's football team, shared her thoughts about the extension of the collaboration as well.

Vini Jr., member of the men's national team, also shared his excitement about the partnership.
