UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 reportedly set to launch in 2025: First look, variations, and more explored

The highly anticipated return of the UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 collaboration is reportedly slated for a 2025 drop. Per Sneaker Bar Detroit, two different versions of the collaborative sneakers will drop on June 28, 2025, with both priced at $225.

The drop will be marking the 20th anniversary of these widely loved UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 sneakers. It is expected to capture the attention of sneakerheads worldwide.

UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 reported to return after 20 long years

The original UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 sneakers were released in 2005. It was the first collaboration between Jordan Brand and a sneaker boutique.

UNDEFEATED was founded in Los Angeles in 2002. The boutique is known for its military-inspired design. It partnered with Jordan Brand to create a sneaker inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket.

The 2005 release got only 72 pairs. As a result, the beloved piece became a holy grail for collectors around the world. It was notably listed at five-figure prices on some resale markets.

So, what might be new in the 2025 versions?

The 2025 UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 will have a reference to the original design with some modern visual and functional elements. Reports say, for the first time, the sneakers will be released in two varied versions:

Jordan 4 Retro OG SP (Nike Air) – SKU: IB1519-200

Jordan 4 Retro SP (Jumpman) – SKU: IB1854-200

Both versions are suspected to share the same core colorway, labeled Deep Green/ Clementine/ Black/ Sail. However, they differ in their branding details. The Nike Air version is expected to be the slightly more sought-after model because of its historical appeal.

Some speculated features of the sneakers include:

Olive green suede on the upper of the shoes nods to the MA-1 flight jacket.
Clementine orange accents could be seen on the tongue and other details, which are further complemented by black interiors.
The tongue reportedly features removable Velcro patches, an interesting feature that mimics military badges.
The midsole will be equipped with Air technology for cushioning and comfort.
The Nike Air and Jumpman logos appear on different versions, adding a layer of branding to the upcoming UNDEFEATED x Air Jordan 4 sneakers.
