SoleFly, the Miami-based sneaker retailer, and the Jordan brand have teamed up to create a capsule collection that features an iteration of the Air Jordan 12 silhouette and apparel like shorts, a shirt, and a jacket.
The Air Jordan 12, one of the most remixed Air Jordans in recent times, has been revisited by brands like Drake’s OVO, A Ma Maniere, and Public School New York (PSNY), amongst others.
According to SoleFly, the latest edition of the Air Jordan 12 celebrates cafe culture and takes inspiration from the warmth and camaraderie of a perfect Cafecito moment.
According to the SNKRS website, the sneakers are set for launch on December 13, 2024, for $225. The collection also features a Barista shirt, a t-shirt, and Barista shorts priced between $60 and $90. Keep reading for more details.
The SoleFly x Nike Air Jordan collection explored
The collection’s pieces feature warm brown tones reminiscent of coffee and cafe culture.
1) SoleFly x Nike Air Jordan “Cafecito” sneakers
The sneakers are dressed in Baroque Brown and pay homage to Cuban coffee, a SoFlo area staple. The shoes are designed with predominantly white leather on the upper accented by chocolate leather guards, pulla, and soles. The underfoot is equally impressive with a semi/translucent unit and ribbed lines.
SoleFly branding adorns the tongue, while the metallic copper Jordan branding on the mid-panel and white enamel upper eye stays add an elegant finish. You can sign up on SNKRS to get notified when the Cafecito sneakers hit the shelves.
2) The Barista shirt
The Barista shirt is steeped in color reminiscent of rich coffee and features piping details and embroidered branding. It is made from lightweight woven twill fabric and has a button-up design. The double pockets and small collars enhance the classic design.
Pair with shorts from the collection for a monochrome look, dress pants for an elegant vibe, or go casual with denim. The shirt will be available on December 13, 2024, for $80 on Nike.
3) T-shirt
The simple t-shirt from the Jordan x SoleFly collection is presented in a creamy white colorway which is both elegant and minimal and brings to mind a cup of rich creamy coffee shared with friends. The shirt is made from heavyweight cotton which ensures the classic tee has a structured look.
The graphics on the chest area reflect the colors of the Cafecito. The versatile shirt can be paired with a variety of outfits. The shirt will sell for $60 upon its launch.
4) Barista shorts
This pair of Barista shorts is steeped in the brown colors of a good cup of coffee. The cool and versatile design ensures a variety of styling options. The drawstring on the waist promises a snug fit while the subtle white detailing on the hem of the shorts promotes an elegant look.
The shorts also feature a woven label similar to the one seen on the AJ12. The apparel is expected to launch on December 13, on SNKRS, alongside the rest of the collection. You can shop for $90 then.
