Miley Cyrus's new album, Something Beautiful, is all set to release on May 30. The album consists of thirteen songs, four of which have already been released — including More to Lose, Prelude, Something Beautiful, and End of the World.

The album will be accompanied by a visual film, reportedly set to release in June. The singer also gave a detailed description of it on Instagram, writing:

"Something Beautiful will showcase Miley in a striking visual narrative, featuring archival Thierry Mugler couture, Jean Paul Gaultier, custom Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa."

While you wait for the album’s release, here are five of her best songs to enjoy — guaranteed to keep you entertained until the big day.

5 best songs of Miley Cyrus every fan should listen to

Flowers

One of her most famous songs, Flowers, draws from real-life experiences. While fans speculate that the song is about Miley’s ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth, the singer has never confirmed the rumors. The track earned Miley her first Grammy for Record of the Year, marking a major milestone in her career.

Malibu

According to Miley, Malibu was inspired by someone she loved (believed to be Liam Hemsworth) and the place itself — Malibu, where she once lived with him. She wrote the song in her home studio. It speaks about rekindling love, rediscovering herself, and embracing freedom.

The song, originally written by Jessie J, Dr. Luke, and Claude Kelly, was based on Jessie’s experience of coming to America. Miley later tweaked the lyrics to make it more personal. Even though it’s a pop anthem about a young girl adjusting to life in L.A., its catchy chorus and mentions of Jay-Z and Britney Spears have made it a fan favorite — especially at Fourth of July parties and sports events.

We Can't Stop

Originally intended for Rihanna, this track became a hit for Miley Cyrus after producer Mike WiLL Made-It passed it on to her. The song quickly rose on the charts, ranking within the top ten in multiple countries. In an interview with Off Demand Entertainment, Miley revealed they created two versions of the music video to suit different audiences.

Nothing Breaks Like A Heart

Miley and Mark Ronson wrote this song months before she lost her Malibu home — which she shared with Liam Hemsworth — in a wildfire. Shortly after, Hemsworth posted a photo on Instagram showing the ruins, with only large concrete letters spelling out “LOVE” remaining. The lyrics about a burning house took on deeper meaning after the event, making the song resonate more powerfully.

Miley is known for expressing her personal experiences through her music. With her new album, Something Beautiful, on the horizon, fans are eager to discover the new stories and emotions she’ll share. The album is now available for pre-save on streaming platforms.
