50 Cent has solely focused on singles in recent years, with his latest full-length album, Animal Ambition, released back in 2014. Some of his notable singles released in recent years include "I'm the Man," "No Romeo No Juliet" feat. Chris Brown, and "Power Powder Respect" feat. Jeremih and Lil Durk.
The singer talked about why he has been slow to make new music in recent years with Earn Your Leisure during an appearance at the 2024 Invest Fest in August 2024, stating:
"If you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my stupid. I have to tap into the stupid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music."
The singer continued, adding how he felt that he could make more of an impact with films and other forms of entertainment production:
"This why I haven’t created as much content as I was creating in the past and I started going towards the film production and development of these projects. Because I can impact things in a bigger way through that."
Alongside his solo music career and his work with the group G-Unit, 50 Cent is also known for producing the crime drama Power and for starring in films such as Expend4bles and Boneyard.
