BLACKPINK's Jennie gets named member of Hope Bridge Honors Club officially: Everything to know about club and more

Jennie from BLACKPINK has been announced as one of the members of the Hope Bridge Honors Club. Among a myriad of other celebrities and prominent individuals, Jennie is one of the people who have helped with national disaster relief efforts by donating more than 100M KRW.

In her personal statement for the Hope Bridge Honors Club, she says:

"Though it may be a small gesture, I wish to join in with the hope that it brings some comfort. I sincerely hope everyone can safely return to their daily lives and welcome a warm spring."

Kim Bong-jin, the Chairman of the Elegant Brothers, said:

"We will work with Hope Bridge to eliminate educational inequality and support restaurant owners."

Korean drama writer, Kim Eun-sook, who wrote Lovers in Paris, Secret Garden, The Heirs, and more, is also a member. Her statement reads:

"Hope has the power to transform our lives. I hope that hope will spread throughout our society."

The CEO of Hwa & Dam Pictures, Yoon Ha-rim, says:

"We send our hearts to our disaster-stricken neighbors, helping them get back on their feet."

BTS member, Min Yoongi a.k.a. Suga, is another famous member of the club. His statement reads:

"I hope it will be put to good use to help our neighbors who are suffering from the wildfire damage."

South Korean actress, Park Shin-hye, who is known for her role in the television series, Stairway to Heaven, says:

The Hope Bridge Honors Club is an initiative that consists of wealthy donors, including actors, singers, producers, writers, businessmen, and women in Korea, who are working towards helping those stricken by national disasters.
