Anciients announce first U.S. tour in 8 years: Dates, venues, & all you need to know

After nearly a decade away from American stages, Canadian progressive metal band, Anciients, are officially heading back to the United States.

After recently winning their second JUNO Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year, the band has officially announced their 'Quest Beyond Our Minds' U.S. tour. It is going to be their first stateside run in eight years.

The tour has been scheduled to kick off on August 27, 2025, in Seattle and wrap up on September 20, 2025, in Bellingham, Washington. The trek will span over 20 dates across the country.

Along the way, Anciients will make stops in multiple cities, such as Atlanta, New Orleans, and San Francisco, with a rotating group of support acts including Dawn of Ouroboros, Armed for Apocalypse, Nott, and Exist.

Anciients took to their official Instagram page to share the tour announcement. They captioned:

"Quest Beyond Our Minds 2025 U.S. Tour"

Then the band mentioned the official schedule of their 2025 trek.

Metal Sucks reports that in a statement, Anciients frontman Kenny Cook mentioned:

"It's been a long time coming, which makes it that much more special to announce that we will finally be returning to the USA for a run of shows this summer/fall. We have got a handful of killer bands joining us on select dates to get us to and from the ProgPower fest in Atlanta. We look forward to seeing our American fans out on the road!"

Anciients' 2025 U.S. tour will run for nearly a month. It will travel across the West Coast, South, and a few East Coast spots. One of the highlights is their appearance at ProgPower USA, a renowned festival celebrating progressive and power metal, set in Atlanta on September 4, 2025.

Each leg of the tour will see different supporting acts:

• Dawn of Ouroboros and Nott will join for the early West Coast shows.
• Exist will step in alongside Dawn of Ouroboros for dates in the South.
• Armed for Apocalypse will team up with Exist and later support the Western run back toward the Northwest.

Fans can expect performances featuring new material from Anciient's Beyond the Reach of the Sun, along with some fan favorites from earlier albums.
