The alternative hip-hop band originally consisted of four members: will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie, although the Big Girls Don't Cry singer departed from the band in 2018. On June 5, 2025, the Black Eyed Peas posted two old photos of the band members together on colorful Vespas. They captioned the post:

"Riding into 20 years like 🐒 #staytuned"

Fans did not know what to make of this post, but many assumed that the hip-hop band would be coming out with new music soon. As mentioned, Fergie left the group in 2018 and has since focused on her solo career. However, many agreed that the BEP was at its peak when all four members were making music together.
