Pop Base took to their official X (formerly Twitter) page to share that,

"Demi Lovato shows love to Selena Gomez and reveals she listened to her latest album with Benny Blanco: "I have listened to the album, really, really great job. Loved the songs on it. 'Bluest Flame' was my song […] I couldn't be happier for her, she’s engaged. I just wish her the best.""

Fans were notably quick to weigh in on the comments section as they penned remarks. Below are some of their reactions:

"two people with some of the most challenging lives to this point are two of the best to ever do it... love seeing them support one another", stated a netizen.
"Old rivalries fade, real respect lasts. Demi Lovato praising Selena's album and engagement feels like pop finally choosing harmony over headlines. 🎶❤️😍👍🌟", opined another.
"That's a sweet update! Demi showing love to Selena Gomez, especially highlighting "Bluest Flame" and congratulating her on her engagement to Benny Blanco, really feels like a full-circle moment given their Disney roots and history. 💙✨", expressed a third.

Others also chimed in:

"That is a beautiful show of maturity and support, especially in an industry often fueled by rivalry. Demi acknowledging Selena's work and happiness reflects growth and genuine respect. It's a reminder that success feels fuller when we can celebrate others without comparison.", penned a fan.
"Sorry to write this and with all due respect, but now that she's tanking, not even one song on the Hot 100, she needs to cling on to whatever she can. Did it first with the J brothers and now this. Not defending anybody here, but this is just ridiculous…", shared another.
"OMGGGG DELENA REUNION IS COMING VERY SOON WERE SO BACKK", predicted a third.

Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez first met as children on Barney and Friends in 2001. They eventually landed roles on the Disney Channel: Lovato with Sonny With a Chance and Gomez with Wizards of Waverly Place. They also starred together in Disney's 2009 TV movie Princess Protection Program.
