Blackbraid 2025 North American tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Black metal project Blackbraid is officially heading out on its first-ever North American headlining tour this fall.

The act is fronted solely by Sgah’gahsowáh. Blackbraid was started in 2022. Both Blackbraid I and Blackbraid II were notably met with critical acclaim.

Now, in support of the upcoming album Blackbraid III, Blackbraid is taking the stage across 19 cities. The album is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2025. The tour is set to kick off on September 18, 2025, in San Diego and wrap up on October 11, 2025, in Los Angeles.

The trek will feature Lamp of Murmuur and Dödsrit as supporting acts. Gudsforladt will step in for two Canadian stops.

Blackbraid took to its official Instagram to share the trek announcement. Sgah'gahsowáh penned:

"Today I am honored to announce Blackbraid's first Headlining North American tour! On this warpath we will be joined by our brethren @lampofmurmuur, The Dreaming Prince of Decadence, and the undying nocturnal will of @dodsrit_official, their first ever appearance in the states, for nineteen nights of black metal chaos and majesty."

He also added:

"Our brothers in arms @gudsforladt will also be joining us for two limited nights in Canadian territory. Tickets will go on sale this FRIDAY at 10 AM local time, ticket links will be available via my website. Poster Illustration by the talented @ericwsahlsten Hail the night ⚔️⚔️⚔️⚔️"

The tour will start shortly after a listening session for Blackbraid III at the Fire in the Mountains festival in Montana on July 27, 2025. Attendees will get a preview of the upcoming new album and a chance to join a Q&A with Sgah'gahsowáh hosted by Metal Injection's Frank Godla.
