Brandy and Monica extend 2025 co-headlining tour: Presale code, new dates, venues, and more explored

Brandy and Monica have announced three additional dates to their 2025 The Boy Is Mine co-headlining tour. They will bring their live reunion to fans in Florida this December. The newly added shows in Tampa, Miami, and Jacksonville are expected to be an exciting expansion of what is arguably one of the most anticipated R&B tours of the year.

The pair famously collaborated on the 1998 hit "The Boy Is Mine." They first announced the joint tour earlier this year. It is their first-ever national run as co-headliners. The tour stirred excitement among fans following their surprise appearance in Ariana Grande's 2024 music video for her remix of "The Boy Is Mine," which earned them another GRAMMY nomination more than two decades after the original song dropped.

Brandy took to her official Instagram page to share the tour extension announcement. The post read:

"FLORIDA ♥️ The Boy Is Mine Tour is almost here and we are so excited to announce three new dates in Tampa, Miami and Jacksonville. AMEX presale begins tomorrow. Can't wait to see you in December @monicadenise 🎤🎤"

Brandy and Monica's 2025 The Boy Is Mine tour will feature support from:

Kelly Rowland – GRAMMY-winning artist and Destiny's Child alum
Muni Long – GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter known for hits like "Hrs and Hrs"
Jamal Roberts – Winner of American Idol Season 23 and rising R&B star

Speaking about their reunion, Brandy stated:

"I was a huge Jerry Springer fan. One of the topics was 'The boy is mine,' and I'm like, 'Oh my God. Song idea. Let's do this.' I wanted to work with her so I called her up and asked her to be a part of the song. She said 'yes' and here we are."

Monica shared:

"When I first heard the song I thought, 'Are people going to think we are fighting?' And people still think we're fighting. I don't know if it's the greatness of the song or something else, but it did just start something completely different… We are a musical marriage. It is a musical marriage. I think it was how personable she was that made us feel so comfortable. We have always been very adamant about people leaving history as it is. But the integrity of it is still there."

Monica continued to shed light on her collaboration with Brandy:

"It opens the door, for sure. No, we are not doing the studio tour bus. We are seasoned women. We need proper rest, alright? We are going to 24 cities! So what we are going to do is just be smart about it. We will start working on the music immediately and then we can just be prompting it while we are on the road. But no tour bus studios. That's for the rappers."
