BTS news has been buzzing since their reunion in June, especially after the group announced that they will be working on a 2026 comeback album. According to news outlets, the boy group revealed their plans for an upcoming tour and a spring album release on July 1, via a Weverse live.

In an image shared by an X account, BTS Charts Daily, it is rumored that the group has no plans to enter "South Korea" for approximately two months. The account noted,

"They will gather in the US to prepare a full album. They will personally plan the album concept, direction, and songs."

It added,

"It is expected to be their first full-length album in six years…The members will each gather their own ideas and collaborate with overseas producers. The album is targeted for release in the spring of 2026."

While the group has confirmed that a new album is in the works, it has not been made official if they will work together in the US.

Users took to the comment section and expressed their excitement. One fan (@Blueisit) wrote,

"AAAAH im so excited."

Another fan (@7emotionss) expressed their hopes and wrote,

"2 whole month?? We're about to get bon voyage season 5 as their album documentry guys beleive me."

ARMYs noted ways of making the group's comeback even bigger. One user (@Wings_tofly07) wrote,

BTS is back, and information about their plans is going viral on the Internet. While the buzz is that they might work in the US, their entertainment agency hasn't given any official indication. The boy group has previously shared their excitement with ARMY about their reunion and 2026 plans.

While BIGHIT or BTS haven't confirmed where they will be working on their album, fans expressed excitement and relief about the news.


In other news, the group is ready to drop their live album, Permission to Dance On Stage—Live, on July 18, per Billboard. According to the entertainment outlet, the album will feature 22 songs and a 92-page interview photobook.
