Pop Crave took to its official X (formerly Twitter) page to share that,
"Taylor Swift's ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ theater event is currently aiming for a box office opening weekend of $30-50M, Deadline reports."
Fans soon weighed in on the comment section of the post to express their thoughts. Below are some of their reactions:
"Taylor casually pulling theater numbers bigger than some movies… the chokehold is unreal 💀🎤✨", hyped a fan.
"$50M just to watch the same songs at a different angle is insane and somehow makes sense", opined another.
"Wow, that’s massive! 🎤✨ Taylor Swift continues to dominate, turning every project into a potential blockbuster. $30-50M opening weekend would be huge for a theater event", commented a third.
Others also chimed in:
"Aye, sounds like Taylor is about to make a right splash! If her concerts are anything to go by, the show will be worth every penny, better grab tickets quick before they vanish like a good Yorkshire tea!", noted a netizen.
""Swifties are ready to 'Shake It Off' their budgets for T-Swift's show! $30-50M? More like $100M and a free hug from Taylor 💖"", added another.
"STOP SAYING OPENING WEEKEND, this is not a regular movie release, it's A SPECIAL *ONLY* 3-DAY EVENT, there won't be a following after the "opening" JESUUUUUSSSS.", stated a third.
AMC confirmed that each participating theater in Taylor Swift's album release event will run at least four screenings a day between October 3 and 5, 2025. The screenings will also be available in 18 international circuits, including Mexico, the U.K., Germany, Australia, and South Africa.
