Coachella 2026 is already creating a lot of excitement as fans wonder who will headline the festival next year. Amongst the discussions online, Hits Daily Double revealed on September 8 that Sabrina Carpenter and KAROL G are rumored to headline Coachella 2026, with Kendrick Lamar and Dua Lipa also possibly joining the lineup.
According to Hits Daily Double, the rumors came from offstage conversations among agents during the MTV Video Music Awards and Oasis’ Rose Bowl shows. Italian DJ Anyma is another name speculated to perform next year.
The news has since spread all over the internet. However, the music festival's page has not officially announced the lineup for next year. While these names are trending online, the festival’s official announcement is the only confirmation fans can rely on.
A look at Coachella’s past headliners in the last three years
Coachella has not disappointed people with its over-the-top lineups in recent years. This year's lineup featured Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott, with many other famous artists, some of whom included Benson Boone, LISA, Charli xcx, T-Pain, Megan Thee Stallion, Zedd, JENNIE, Ty Dolla $ign, and more.
The Coachella 2024 lineup featured Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat as headliners. Other well-known artists who performed at the festival included Lil Uzi Vert, Sabrina Carpenter, Ice Spice, DJ Snake, and more.
In the previous year, 2023, the two-weekend music festival's headliners included Bad Bunny, Blackpink, Frank Ocean, and Calvin Harris, with other performers such as Metro Boomin, Charli xcx, Kali Uchis, Jackson Wang, and more.
Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, Man’s Best Friend, has been widely loved by fans, while Kendrick Lamar’s hit album GNX has also topped many charts. Since both artists are already trending, there’s a chance Coachella could choose them as headliners for 2026.
Last month, rumors circulated about a star-studded lineup for the music festival, with names like The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, SZA, Oasis, and Olivia Rodrigo being mentioned as potential headliners. Sabrina Carpenter also appeared on this list, making her one of the few artists featured in multiple rounds of speculation. However, nothing is confirmed.
Coachella usually releases its official lineup around the end of the year or start of the new year, with last year’s lineup revealed in November. Fans will have to wait until then to know the confirmed list of performers. The two-weekend music festival is scheduled to take place from April 10 to 12 and April 17 to 19.
