Digable Planets 2025 tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Digable Planets are officially heading back on the road in 2025 to celebrate 30 years of their beloved album Blowout Comb. This special anniversary tour has a notable lineup of guest performers.

The tour is set to span from June through November 2025. It will feature appearances by De La Soul, The Soul Rebels, and RC & The Gritz on select dates.

This special run will kick off in Waco, Texas, and wrap up in New York City. Notably, the Grammy-winning trio released only two albums in the early 1990s.

Digable Planets took to their official Instagram handle to share the tour announcement news. The post read:

Digable Planets is composed of Ishmael "Butterfly" Butler, Craig "Doodlebug" Irving, and Mary Ann "Ladybug Mecca" Vieira. They first broke out with their 1993 debut Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space). Their single Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat) won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

Digable Planets' second and final studio album, Blowout Comb, was dropped in 1994. The album featured appearances from beloved artists like Guru of Gang Starr and Jeru the Damaja. It included tracks like 9th Wonder (Blackitolism) and Jettin. Though the group disbanded in 1995, they reunited a decade later.

Tickets for the general public for the 2025 Digable Planets shows are set to go on sale Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster and AXS.
