EXO’s Baekhyun pleasantly surprised fans by announcing his upcoming album. On April 25, 2025, the EXO idol took to his official social media account to announce his soon-to-be-released album, Essence of Reverie, which is set to be released on May 19, 2025, at 6 p.m. KST.
Following the announcement, Baekhyun unveiled the schedule for the album’s release: concept photos for April 29 and 30, a concept film (Essense version) for the first of May, more concept photos for days 5 and 6 of May, a second concept film (Reverie version) for May 7, Get to Know Kkuru for May 11, Essence of Reverie Highlight Medley for May 13, a Music Vidoe poster for May 16, an MV teaser for May 17, and then the album releases on May 19.
Consistent with the schedule, Baekhyun released the concept film for ‘Essence of Reverie’ on May 1, and fans had plenty to say about it.
