Erykah Badu and The Alchemist are officially joining forces for a 2025 North American tour, a collaborative run between the neo-soul artist and the acclaimed hip-hop producer.

The newly announced trek has been dubbed the "Abi & Alan Tour." The 10-date run will begin on Friday, August 8, 2025, in Seattle and wrap on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Austin.

The tour has been designed to accompany their upcoming joint album of the same name. The shows will include performances by Erykah Badu alongside her experimental live band, The Cannabinoids.

The announcement comes as Erykah Badu prepares to release her first full-length studio album in 15 years, which is co-produced by The Alchemist. An official press release was issued to detail the upcoming Erykah Badu x The Alchemist tour, which read:

"When four-time Grammy-winning vocalist and powerhouse producer, composer, and independent record label founder Erykah Badu teams up with legendary hip-hop producer The Alchemist, creative genius meets creative genius. The duo is bringing that creative alchemy on the road this August with the "Abi & Alan Tour"—a playful nod to their birth names, Erica Abi Wright and Alan Maman—hitting ten cities across North America."

The press release also contained information about the upcoming joint album, Abi & Alan:
