Speaking about the ESNS festival 2026, the Head of Programme and Booker at ESNS, Robert Meijerink, said in a press release:
"These artists show the incredible creativity coming from all over Europe, from intimate songwriting to cutting-edge electronics and powerful live bands. They capture the energy and innovation that make ESNS a unique meeting place for music lovers and industry professionals."
ESNS was founded in 1986. The festival originally started as the Holland-Belgium festival in that year, before subsequent editions transformed it into the festival and conference that it is right now. The festival is an award-winning event, having been awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Independent Music award by the IMPALA (The Independent Music Companies Association).
Previous editions of the festival have seen performances by the likes of English Teacher, Lois Lane (Dutch girl group), Animal Alpha, Air Traffic, Julie Feeney, Sarah Bettens, Republic of Loose, And So I Watch You From Afar, and many more. The conference part of the event is centered around panels and interviews, with music industry experts from all across Europe attending each edition.
