The lineup for Coachella 2026, the year’s biggest music festival, has been announced and includes several K-pop artists.
The confirmed acts will feature performances from BIGBANG, Shinee’s Taemin, and KATSEYE. The event revealed its lineup for next year on September 15, 2025. It revealed Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, Anyma, and Justin Bieber as the headliners for the event.
K-pop artists marked their first-ever performance at the Coachella festival in 2011 with the experimental duo EE. According to a report in Soompi, the K-pop artists will begin their performances next April, as KATSEYE is scheduled to perform on April 10 and April 17. It will be followed by Shinee’s Taemin, who will take the stage on April 11 and April 18. BIGBANG will be the last to perform at the event on April 12 and April 19.

With Coachella’s latest announcement of lineup, which includes K-pop artists such as KATSEYE, BIGBANG, and Shinee’s Taemin, a sudden interest in their lives has ignited among the people.
Katseye
It is a six-member girl group that was formed in 2023 through a reality competition show called The Debut: Dream Academy. It was a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records. The group features: Sophia, Daniela, Megan, Lara, Manon, and Yoonchae.
They made their debut in June 2024 with their single, Debut and gained significant recognition among their fans with their viral hits like Touch and Gnarly. They released their second LP in June 2025, which is titled Beautiful Chaos.
In an interview with Variety, Sophia told the outlet:
"Beautiful Chaos is the season we’re all in. It’s very much us, but it’s also us constantly evolving and finding ourselves. It’s a big transitional part of Katseye, in discovering who we are and the different sides of us."
The band will soon embark on their musical tour to promote their album. It will begin on November 15, 2025, and will conclude on December 16, 2025.
BIGBANG
It is a trio consisting of K-pop artists G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. They made their debut in the music industry on August 19, 2006, through their management company, YG Entertainment.
The group originally consisted of five members, including T.O.P. and Seungri, with two rappers and three singers.
Also referred to as the "Kings of K-pop," BIGBANG played a crucial role in the music industry, with their introduction of a unique blend of musical styles, charismatic stage presence, and creativity. Their songs were an amalgamation of hip-hop, pop, and techno.
According to a report published by TIME in 2019, BIGBANG has sold more than 140 million records globally. Seungri retired in March 2019, and T.O.P. left in May 2023, according to the group’s IMDb profile.

Shinee’s Taemin
Taemin is the youngest member of the South Korean boy band Shinee, who made their debut in 2008 under SM Entertainment. His birth name is Lee Tae-min. He reportedly launched his solo career in 2014 with his debut album Ace and title track Danger.
In 2019, he became a member of SM Entertainment's super group SuperM. He is also an actor and a dancer in addition to being a singer and a songwriter. Taemin's special digital single titled Veil, released on September 13.
