Kanye West’s WW3 is making waves. Pop culture and music update channel on X, @Kurrco, announced that the rap track is now the most viral song in the world.

On Spotify’s Viral 50 list, WW3 has taken the number one spot. The song also occupies a similar position on Spotify Germany’s viral chart.

WW3 was released on March 26, 2025, as a track from the controversial rapper’s upcoming album of the same name after he had previewed a snippet of the song. The song features contentious lyrics that many have termed as offensive.

WW3’s lyrics have been taken down from Genius for their “offensive and hateful” connotations. Kanye West has previewed other songs in the upcoming album, including JARED, NITROUS, and HEIL HITLER.

According to HOT 97, in the WW3 track, West seemingly throws shade at Canadian rapper Drake with lyrics:

"N-ggas be acting like f-ggots, I think they might be Drake.”

Other heavily criticized lyrics in the rap song include “Heil Hitler” as a refrain. This is accompanied by similar phrases scattered throughout the song:

"All my n-ggas N*zis, Heil Hitler/ They don’t understand the things I say on Twitter,"

Fans react as Kanye West’s WW3 song becomes the most viral song in the world

Fans and Netizens have reacted to the news of the controversial rap song by dominating the Spotify Viral Songs chart. After @FearedBuck shared the news on X, fans of the All of the Lights hitmaker were impressed and tweeted their support.

Some seem to have separated the artist from the art.

“He is the goat rapper. Just questionable tweets,” @CompLikeDrew explained.
“Y’all judging the lyrics should just vibe to the music smh; the song is fye, imo,” @ThorDKidd added.
“He makes a great music. I have not heard the song, but going to go listen to it right now,” @Betrue_Patriot expressed.

Other X users were not impressed by the news. Some found WW3’s position on the charts shady and tweeted the same:

“Damn, miga, you gotta lie to this? So sad, no one is actually listening to it,” @OlhaEssaAqui stated.
“Kanye should be locked in a mental asylum,” @DailyXReport concluded.

Another X user found the emphasis on Germany’s charts to be confusing:

“Why tf does Germany matter lol,” @tigerwav asked.

The upcoming WW3 album by Kanye West will feature eleven tracks, including one of the same name and others like COSBY, FREEDOM, BIANCA, JARED, MONEY AND FAME, and DIRTY MAGAZINES.
