Force Festival is being organized by Force Magazine, which was established by YZERR. YZERR talked about his ideas in an exclusive interview with Forbes Magazine on September 7, 2024. The following quotation is translated via Google Translate:

"I think the misconception that artists are ignorant of business only exists in Japan. Great rappers from overseas like Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, and Puff Daddy all understand business."

YZERR continued:

"For me, business is just like art; the more beautiful and well-crafted it is, the better it is. By using my instincts, or what I call 'sense,' to bring together ideas for business models and the skills and technology needed to realize them into a harmonious design, I believe we can create amazing businesses."

He went on to point out that there is no "huge' media outlet specializing in hip hop in Japan, and that Force Magazine is looking to fulfill that exact same niche of providing domestic and international hip hop news.

YZERR also recently issued a statement on his official X page regarding the price of tickets for the festival. The statement is here quoted in English via Google Translate:

"We, the organizers, have struggled many times over the fact that the ticket price exceeds 30,000 yen in one day.To hold the world's top hip-hop festival in Japan, this has inevitably become the minimum amount we could set."

The statement continues:

Even with this price, it won't be profitable, but more than that, I would be happy if we could deliver scenes and hip-hop that people have never seen before to as many people as possible."
